| Research Interests: In general, I am interested in studying new and innovative ways of preserving and/or conserving the essence of "old things". I believe every person, artifact, and built structure has a story (and "a lesson to teach"), which if not recorded in some permanent form will become lost or misrepresented, by future generations. Reflecting upon our current technological capabilities that permanent form or format would be digital. Hence, my interests in digital libraries and non-disruptive or "natural" user interfaces have evolved, from an effort to tell (record) stories that individuals will interact with and learn from. |
